Lost Passports and Disasters: What to Do

Last week’s 6.3 magnitude earthquake in Christchurch, New Zealand, devastated the city. Buildings are in ruins and at least 148 people are confirmed dead. Christchurch is a popular town for tourists, many of whom struggled to get out of the city after the quake.

New Emergency Passport Office Opens in New Hampshire

Just in time for the busy holiday season, the Department of State announced last week that the New Hampshire passport agency office in Portsmouth is now open to the public.

The office, located in the Pease Tradeport, has been open since 1992, and handles expedited passport request from all over the country.
